A. What you need to do!
1. Entering your property details online
- How do I fill in my property details on-line?
It's easy, just click Login, enter your username
and password, click submit and you will be transferred to the owners area.
Here you will be able to add and modify your property details and view availability. Follow
the instructions in the help file on the owners menu.
- Do I have to enter additional prices and seasons?
The system works with a base price that is charged per week or day or month
for whatever dates searched. Entering additional seasonal prices and dates
will allow you to adjust your prices for peek periods such as summer and
christmas.
- Can I change my advertisement?
You can login to the owners area at any time and can modify your advert or
photos in real time and update your advert online.
2. Adding Photographs to your property
details.
- Automatic loading of photos online.
You can load photos directly from your computer hard drive to the talk2Sir.com
website by logging in to the owners area and by clicking Modify Photos
next to your property. Further instructions are in the help manual.
- Can I send the photos by email?
Yes. You can send original digital photos and scans as jpegs or Gifs as email
attachments to our email address. Please also put your name, address and
property reference number, so we know which advertisement the photos are
for. Also indicate which photo should be the main photo to be displayed.
- Can I send original paper photos by post?
Yes. If you are unsure about scanning photographs or emailing them then you
can send original photographs by normal post. Please also enclose a note
with your name, address and property reference number, so we know which
advertisement the photos are for. Label the back of the photographs lightly
in pencil with the property reference number and indicate which photo is
the main photo to be displayed. We will then prepare and upload the photos
for you.
- Responsibility for copyright
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have copyright, or necessary
permission to use the photos you send to us. We assume that you are the
owner of the property or that you have the permission of the owner. Any
infringements of copyright will result in the photos being removed from
our website.
3. Paying for your advertising package
- How much does it cost to advertise?
We have several packages to suit your needs. Click
here to select the package most suitable for you.
- How can I pay for my advertising
It is easiest for you to use our secure online credit card system to pay
for your advertising package. Just click the Order Now button next to the
package you wish to purchase. You will be transferred to PayPal for secure
credit card processing.
- Do you send invoices or receipts?
Once we have received payment and processed your order you will receive a
confirmation email with a receipt and your username and password along
with details for logging in to the owners area.
4. Receiving reservation enquiries
- How do I receive booking enquiries?
Booking enquiries from the website will be forwarded to you.
- How do I know if my property has been reserved online?
In the owners area you can see on the availability calendar when your property
is rented and when not.
- Will you notify me if a live reservation is made?
Yes. Once a booking has been made and paid for by a tenant, you will receive
an email with the booking details.
- Can I enter different contact details for different advertisements?
Yes, you can enter different contact details for different advertisements.
Each time you purchase a package you will need to give your contact details.
5. Modifying your property details.
You can make changes to your advertisement at any time. Just login
to the owners area.
- How soon will the changes appear?
Changes appear immediately. Although we reserve the right to modify your
advert if the copy does not meet our approval.
- Can I put a different property in my advertisement?
Yes. Each package allows the listing of one property at any time. Your are
able to modify all details. For multiple properties you will need to purchase
multiple packages.
B. What we can do for you!
1. Publish your advert live on the Internet
- How long does it take?
Your advert will be published instantly on the Internet. However we reserve
the right to amend copy if it does not meet our standards.
2. Layout and copy for your advertisements
- Checking the copy
We make every effort to check that the content of the advertisements on the
Talk2Sirs.com website is in accordance with our high standards. Although
we are not responsible for the accuracy of the text, we check your spelling
and grammar. We reserve the right to modify your advertisement.
- Layout and Display of you advertisement.
Your advert will be displayed in the search results and property details
pages of our website. We have selected a practical and attractive design
to display your property details. We recommend that once you have published
your advertisement that you search for your property and check how it displays
to the public. You can always modify the details at any time by logging
in to the owners area.
- Preparing the Photos
We can scan paper photographs and optimise them for use on the web. For digital
photos, we make the adjustments on the final photo for size, colour, contrast,
brightness and sharpness.
- Do you return the photos?
We usually keep the photos in case we ever need to re-use them. But if you
want them back, please notify us to return them, together with a self-addressed
envelope.
3. Display of rental rates, price quotations
and availability
- What rates are shown in the search results listings?
When a visitor to the site specifies dates in their search criteria, the
search results listing will display a quotation for the period searched.
If the property is restricted to weekly rentals only, then the search dates
will change to fit weekly periods for these properties.
- Availability
When a visitor searches they will see all the properties that match their
search criteria. The search results will indicate those properties that
are available, partly available (available for part of the dates searched),
or unavailable. The visitor can then click view availability to see when
the property is available. They can then changes their search dates and
reserve the property online. Once a property is reserved and paid for it
is marked as unavailable for the period of the booking.
- Online Reservations
Visitors have the option to make a reservation online or to contact you about
the property for further enquiries. To make a reservation online the user
will first search for a property that matches their requirements. They
then click the make a booking button. This will transfer them to the booking
form. They fill in their reservation details and click submit. The system
saves this information temporarily whilst they are transferred to PayPal
for secure online credit card processing. Once they have paid by credit
card they are transferred back to the talk2Sir.com website where their
booking is made live.
4. Why advertise with us

We provide property owners and agents with a means to increase their holiday
rental income through effective advertising online at very reasonable prices.
Most of the advertisers on our site are private owners who let out their
property for either some or all of the year. They receive many booking
enquiries from our website. No commissions just a small fee.
- How do I join?
Joining is simple. Just following the steps below:
- First review our packages and select the package that suits your
needs. Click on the order now button.
- You will be transferred to PayPal's secure payment server where you
can pay by credit card.
- Fill in your contact details and then press Submit.
- We will then contact you with details on how to proceed.
